I had an exceptional experience working with Nat and the Cumberland Painting crew. Nat went above and beyond to make the scheduling, work completion and my satisfaction of utmost importance. I am very happy with the communication, workmanship and relationship established to both highly recommend and rehire for future projects. Thank you Nat and Cumberland Painting! My home feels like new!

A great job on a blazing hot day!

I wanted a specific lime wash but matching the existing color and these guys did a great job!

The whole thing couldn't have been easier. I contacted them a week ago, Nat came by and gave me a good price. We scheduled for the following week.

They did the whole thing in a day! That includes sourcing the lime wash that morning.

Exactly a week later my whole porch looks just the way I had hoped!

Thanks Nat and Cumberland Painting!

Nat's team at Nashville's Cumberland Painting did a very meticulous job in repainting the exterior of my 100-yr-old East Nashville house, a job that first required laborious removal of chipped paint from the outside. When all was finished, it looked like a "new" old house, as if previously owners had taken loving care of it.

"Pre-Cumberland", the deteriorating exterior not only looked bad but made house vulnerable to weather and negated any curb appeal. I chose Cumberland after seeing the elegant job they did at a neighbor's house. And they exceeded all expectations: transformed my humble bungalow into a place I can't stop photographing! Nat answered questions with patience, kept me informed about rain delays, checked in often when painting started, and provided pointers about deck work I chose to do myself.

As for the crew, led by Carlos (who participated with Nat in daily "check-ins"), they were top notch. I've owned old houses in Nash, TX, and CA and hired many home repair professionals. But Carlos' crew set a new bar. Working through hellacious heat, they arrived early, left late, were highly skilled, neat, mindful of the dog, and tidied up daily, not just at the end. They even fixed a rickety bannister (unasked), and Carlos gently reminded me to keep the dryer vent a bit cleaner.

"Post-Cumberland", the key thing is that my house is so much better protected, and I picked up useful tips on home maintenance from the Cumberland crew. But vanity being no small thing, now when I sit on the porch, pedestrians will often comment on how great the house looks. Before, they just said Hi. :)

We recently had the inside and outside of our home painted by Cumberland Painting when renovating our home. It was an extensive project that Nat and his team took on, and I can honestly say we were blown away from start to finish. They were professional, provided excellent customer service, and paid close attention to every detail. They went above and beyond taking extra care of us to make sure the outcome was perfectly flawless. I couldn't be happier with the results and would give them 10 stars if I could!

I hired Cumberland Painting to prepare my house for rent, and I could not be happier with the results. The walls had several areas needing repair, and their team did an excellent job fixing them and preparing everything for painting. The finished work looks fantastic and I could not be happier.

I recently had Nashville Painters complete a full interior paint job on my home, and I honestly can't say enough great things about the entire experience from start to finish.

Gregg was who I worked with directly throughout the project — scheduling, going over exactly what I wanted, and walking through the finished work — and he was absolutely fantastic. He was communicative, professional, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. It was clear he genuinely cared about getting it right.

Carlos and his crew were exceptional. The quality of their work speaks for itself — clean lines, great attention to detail, and they treated my home with real care and respect. You could tell they take pride in what they do.

What really set Nashville Painters apart was the level of service beyond just painting. They provided access to an interior designer, which was incredibly helpful when it came to pulling colors and finishes together. They also coordinated with another company to install wainscoting, and the whole process was completely seamless — it never felt like I was juggling multiple contractors. Everything was handled with efficiency and professionalism.

At every step, the team made it clear that my satisfaction was the priority. If you're looking for a painting company that does beautiful work AND delivers a white-glove experience, look no further than Nashville Painters. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Cumberland Painting! They painted the interior (walls, ceiling and doors) of our home along with bathroom cabinets in Jan 2026. Greg, Ricardo, Armando and their crews were fantastic. Their quote was very reasonable and they went above and beyond to provide the highest quality services. Not only was the painting outstanding but they also took all precautions to make sure hardwood and carpeted floors were protected. Would definitely use Cumberland Painting again.
